DOG UNIT
Our dog unit consists of variously trained and qualified dogs and handlers. We offer services which include, general protection, as well as drugs and weapons detection. We are certified to industry recognised NASDU or NTIPDU Level 2, which also include regular monthly and quarterly external assessments to ensure that our dogs and handlers are always at the top of their game and consistently work to the essential standards required and to ensure continuous professional development. All of our dogs and handlers are fully insured in case of any eventuality that could arise in any environment they may be working in.
We ensure we are compliant with British Standard 8517 in any area of Dog work we undertake. Our vehicles are professionally converted to ensure the highest animal welfare standards. These are all inspected regularly to ensure they are safe, clean and ready for deployment on short or long term tasks.
GENERAL PURPOSE
General purpose security dogs work safely and confidently in any environment and are specifically trained to alert their handler to any potential threat or intruder that they may encounter. Whilst patrolling and on sites, our handlers will constantly be carrying out visual dynamic risk assessments, while our dogs utilise their training which allow them to give advanced warning of any possible danger or risk.
Using the dog unit could save you time, manpower and money, as less training on sites are required for them. They have an in-depth working knowledge and experience of many different and diverse sites and are used to working a vast number of environments. Security guards are not generally trained to work on diverse sites, and so using the dog unit could massively benefit your business. Our dogs have been thoroughly trained to work on virtually any location unlike most security officers. Our dogs can easily and quickly detect movement, drugs, and specific behaviours, among other things, regardless as to whether your business is residential, commercial, or construction based.
You won’t need as many guard dogs as you would security guards as a result of these enhanced senses and training that our dogs possess, meaning that in the long term, you pay less for more efficient service.
DRUGS AND WEAPONS
Drugs and weapon usage and possession has been on the increase, making our dogs more important than ever. It is highly recommended to employ a specialist search dog to ensure that the risk posed by drugs and weapons are alerted and reduced. The dogs are able to alert to a find on any person in any location, including offering venue and event sweeps in licensed premises, to compliment that Licensing Objectives that Licensed Premises’ must work in compliance of by ensuring that your venue or event is completely clear of these items, prior to you opening your venue or event to the public. Local Police and Council Licensing are always supportive when extra measures and checks have been evidenced as you are able to demonstrate your commitment to upholding high standards and any anti-drugs policy that you hold. Naturally, your staff and customers remain safer, and this is naturally a very positive deterrent for unwanted clientele within your venue or event. Our dogs are specialists in detecting these items and will prevent any compromise for you.
